This project gives me a place to study and share charts across all time frames.

What I'll share and what I won't share.

I'll share chart patterns that are forming according to the setup I trade. I go into how I enter positions, but I won't tell anyone when to enter or how to manage their personal trades. I also won't tell anyone how to size. That's the not my purpose.

My goal here is to help traders cut down on the time it takes to go through the sea of tradable products and share what breakouts are setting up. This is basically my homework. I'll be annotating important formations, identifying the breakouts worth trading, doing deep dives, and building tools that will help to improve trading probabilities.

Why this site and newsletter?

At any given time, there are essentially unlimited breakouts setting up across all products and all time frames.

It's daunting.

For me, there's no better way to rein in all the information and stay in tune with the market than doing my daily homework. I do the work and share it here.

Is the newsletter free? Yes, for now.

What I am and what I am not.

I don't know everything about trading. I have losing trades all the time.

I don't drive a Lamborghini, nor have I ever seen more than a handful of them in person my entire life. My daily driver is an old 1994 Ford F-150, and I like it.

I'm not a guru. I'd like to think I'm the antitheses of a guru. I'm just a normal guy who is trying to be a better trader every day.

I am very good at pattern recognition though. I'm good at finding great looking charts and then putting together an execution strategy. I routinely stalk charts for days, even weeks, before my plan is able to be executed.

That's what this business rewards, a well thought out plan and confident execution.

What you get.

I aim to provide, and I hope you gain, a slight edge in time and preparation. I do extensive charting each day...hours of charting.

I'll share with you what I'm looking at, stalking, and what's on my radar for each day. If the way I chart and trade resonates with you, then this is a slight edge for you.

The methods I use can be applied fractally, on all time frames. After looking at and trading thousands of charts, I've realized that everything is the same. It's all the same game. Just little nuances on different segments of time on a different day.

I'm a private person by nature, but I'm working on that. I want to start putting myself and my work out there to the world. I have some bigger ideas with breakout trading that I want to build. I'm not sure where they will go, but I'm constantly honing this craft and I'd like to share the journey. The independent retail trader life might be more fun with a community. Let's see where this goes.
